The Nikujaga (肉じゃが) comes from "meat (niku) and potatoes (jagaimo)."


Ingredients

50g of carrot, 100g of potatoes, 50g of onion, 350g pork, 200cc of water, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of sake, 2 tablespoons of mirin, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1/2 tablespoon of dashi



Preparation

  1. Wash and Cut vegetables and peel potatoes.

  2. Fry pork.

  3. Add vegetables, seasonings, and water and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes (cover or drop lid on pan)
